Praise the Lord for the things He has done!

The Protege Ministry has continued to grow over the last year and the fruit of the labor has been abundant! We are grateful to share that the Lord has brought together a leader ship team to serve alongside us. Serving as Training Directors are Alvaro & Erica Ramirez and their family who are national missionaries who serve with the ABWE division of Live Global. Greg & Kait Isaak and their family, have joined the team as Evangelistic Outreach Directors and are missionaries with Assist Canada. Also, Jessica Mulder, a fellow ABWE Field Team Member joins us as part of the leadership team.
Together we have cast a vision for this ministry and moved forward with setting and achieving God sized goals!
The Vision
”To Love God, Love People and make disciples by encouraging and equipping National Pastors, as they use their influence, in their communities to extend the reach of the Gospel.”
Salvations and Baptisms
We celebrate the 36 Salvations and 32 Baptisms that we have seen throughout the last year and give praise to the Lord for His mighty work! How humbled we are to watch as the Lord works in the hearts of the National Pastors as they lead their communities to the saving knowledge of the Gospel.

Church Visits
We are off and running!
The last weekend of January began our sprint to June in an effort to visit the majority of our 28 supporting churches. We also have 4 visits scheduled with new churches that want to hear about the ministry opportunities in Nicaragua.
Strong Family News
We arrived back in the States December 16th and life has been right full of everything that we have missed for the last three and a half years. It was wonderful to the enjoy the holidays with our kids, grandkids, families and friends. We were excited about the first several snow storms, but now we are anxiously awaiting the beautiful northeast spring!
Our oldest son Wesley and his wife Talitha, who serve with Kingdom Air Corps, in Alaska, were also home on furlough from November to January. It was wonderful after over two years to be able to spend several weeks with them.
The kids are once again back to homeschooling while we are Stateside. They have really enjoyed getting involved in things that they have missed, like homeschool co-op, sports, Awana and youth group. Gracie and Rachel attended the Counseling Training Conference in Lafayette, Indiana and found the time to be both encouraging and valuable.
Our friends, Mark & Mary Jo Graham, have been so abundantly gracious in setting out on their own “missions trip”, staying with several of their children to allow us to stay in their home. Everyday we give thanks for their faithful generosity!
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:1-3
